Have you ever moved into a new space, got it all set up, then decided to rearrange it right away? Yeah, that’s what I’m doing right now. I’m already making a change to the site, but it’s for the better, I promise.
I’ve been working on revamping one of my other blogs, Priestess of Words. I’ve had that site longer than any of my other sites. I didn’t know what I was going to do with it, but I knew I had to find a way to incorporate it into the Graves Publication family. And I think I’ve figured it out.
My goal for this site is to make it a resourceful site for writers. Between this blog and our Graves Publication News newsletter, my focus will be solely on the writing industry. However, I have a section on this blog that just doesn’t fit in, but it has to do with my other favorite topic, myths and legends. And then it hit me.
I will be moving Library of the Legends over to Priestess of Words. Since I’ve already added a post about Queen Medb, I’ll be leaving that here. I might write up a new one, then leave a link to the post on this site as well. I’m not sure. We’ll see. I just know that my library needs a place where it can shine.
I’ll be adding all kinds of things that have to do with history, mysteries, and mythologies. I’ve already found some cool podcasts I’d like to review. I’m also thinking about looking at various myths and legends, weird facts from history, and places where you can find handmade tarot cards and/or D&D dice.
Of course, I’ll be adding links to speculative fiction books/stories. I mean, come on, I have to have some form of writing-related stuff over there. If I find some fantasy poetry books/pieces, I’ll add those as well. And you can bet that I’ll be adding some of my work as well.
I’m having fun setting up these sites, but it’s been a lot of work. I just want to make sure everything looks good and feels right. Once the vibe is right, everything else will fall into place.
