Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Yes ladies and gentlemen, I am the proud winner of an awesome giveaway put on my one of the best book sites online, Parajunkee’s View. Now mind you, I’m not one of those people who can sit down and read an entire book in like a couple of hours. For some reason, I need to live each moment of the entire thing in my mind and sometimes that can take as long as a few months for me to accomplish. However, I’m totally addicted to books. I love both e-books and real ones alike, and when they’re free, even better.

Miss Patti–owner and operator of Parajunkee–holds some of the best giveaways out there. I haven’t entered too many giveaways over the past few years, so I wasn’t expecting to actually win anything. Imagine my surprise when I got an email telling me that I’d won the big prize in a giveaway that had two different prize packages to offer. The smaller one was giving away a flash drive with 18 ebooks downloaded onto it, as well as some dog tags, some earrings, and a couple other things I can’t really remember at this moment. But I didn’t get that one. (it was actually the one I was trying to win–lol)

When I got the email, I was shocked to find out I’d won the first package. And no, I am not complaining….not one little bit. I was thrilled beyond belief. I won 4 actual real books—An American Duchess by Sharon Page, Last Kiss by Jessica Clare and Jen Frederick, Rules of Entanglement by Gina L. Maxwell, and Cat’s Lair
by Christine Feehan.

I also won a shot glass, a nice cup to drink my sun tea out of, a silly little highlighter, and an ashtray that used to be a Louisiana license plate made by actual prison inmates. As you can see from the picture, one of the books is missing. Not because I’m reading it, but because I went to the post office during my lunch break at work to pick up my package and when I got back to work and my boss saw all those books, she decided she needed to read An American Duchess. LOL

I want to thank Miss Patti from Parajunkee Views for always having such cool giveaways and offering up great reviews on some of today’s hottest books and hotter authors. I may not be a super reader, but I will always love a good book.
